Artist Nino Geladze-Kokochashvili graduated from the Tbilisi State Art Academy in 1994. She loved drawing since childhood, so choosing a profession was not difficult for her. "It (painting) is the only thing I wanted to do all my life" - says the artist - "I think that painting and art in general belong to the number of professions that, despite their peculiar difficulties, give you the greatest pleasure." In the works of Nino Geladze-Kokochashvili, the genre of portrait and landscape is leading, where, in addition to specific images, she conveys her inner world and character: "When painting, the artist does not think only of depicting a specific image. It is more a synthesis of feelings and emotions that you experience throughout your life. Painting is a way of self-expression." Geladze-Kokochashvili's landscapes are portraying the old Tbilisi. She always tries to convey the spirit of the capital city, its aesthetics and the details that make it so different from other cities.
