Master

Nino is a painter and art restorer by profession and graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Besides her profession, the artist was actively involved in the development of culture in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region years ago. She founded the Akhaltsikhe Art School and was its first director.

In addition to these activities, Nino has always been fascinated with learning different craft techniques. She also learnt the technique of macramé weaving as well as making handmade jewellery with polymer clay and the quilting technique.
It was not long ago that the master also made handmade dolls and Christmas decorations. She studied them independently and developed them over time. In this context, the master has participated in various exhibitions in support of women entrepreneurship under the USAID YES -Georgia programme. Nino participated for the first time in the New Year Fair organised by the Association and we hope that she will actively take part in our events in the future.
