Shorena Jankhoteli was interested in knitting and sewing in her childhood by her grandmother who was a seamstress by profession. Due to being a student, getting married and working, the master had to temporarily abandon her favourite craft work, although her interest and longing for it did not slow down. In 2020, during the pandemic, when everything went into a remote mode, the master had the opportunity to return to her old handiwork, which at the same time helped her deal with monotony and stress: "In the background of many restrictions and stress, I decided to create the New Year's mood myself, first of all for my children. I wanted to make for them my favourite, positive character - a gnome." The gnome, which has become one of the leading characters in Mrs. Shorena's work, for her is a mystical and positive creature that opens the door to a fairy-tale world for people of any age: "It is important for me that my work awaken people's memories and create cheerful and happy holiday moods." The approval expressed by family members and friends towards the first works became the great motivation for the master to introduce her works to the general public and to make more people happy with their cheerful and colorful visuals. Shorena's source of inspiration is her great love for nature. For her works she uses natural materials and vintage details, to which she gives a new function. In the work process the selection of the color range, quality and uniqueness of items is great importance for the master. Shorena actively and tirelessly continues to work on the expansion of her own brand "Pumilio". In addition to festive decorations, in the future, she plans to add Georgian traditional elements to her works.
