Enamel master Tea Iakobashvili is a journalist by profession, but her interest and attitude in art were determined by the family. Since her childhood, she has loved painting, was fascinated by photography, and also worked as a graphic designer. Besides in those fields of art, she has also been interesting in enamel. “I remember how excited I was when I was looking through the collection of enamel, which exhibited in the museum of arts. And I am happy about the fact that the lost technologies of enamel were started to revive by scientists in the second half of the XX century. Workshops and studios have been created, and I watched all this with great enthusiasm and covered it as a journalist,” said the master. Besides these kinds of stories, she tried to work by herself in enamel about seven or eight years ago. After this first attempt, she has been working regularly and always tries to develop herself. She creates different kinds of jewelry such as brooches, rings, etc.
