Master

Nino Chitaishvili is a painter by profession, she graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. She designed more than 50 plays in different theaters such as Tbilisi K. Marjanishvili and M. Tumanishvili’s theaters, Opera and Ballet Theatre of Tbilisi, Nodar Dumbadze Theatre and etc. Also illustrated several books, including “The Knight in the Panther's Skin” and “Georgian Magic Tales”. A few years ago, she developed her creative activities in other directions and started painting on porcelain. “Blue Tablecloth”, “Tiflis”, “Jewelry of Vani” are the themes that the artist uses to paint porcelain teapots, cups, spoons, and tiles. The most attractive is porcelain painted by the theme of “Tiflis”, there are some interesting scenes and faces which are inspired by old photos which reflected the daily life of Tbilisi in the 19th-20th century.
