Master

Enamel Master Ekaterine Soselia lives in Batumi. The master is a musician by profession and graduated from Tbilisi State Conservatory. The Khakhuli triptych was her inspiration; she was always interested in how its details were created and, consequently, the process of working on cloisonné enamel. About 7 years ago, she studied the technique of working on enamel at the Batumi Art School. Her teacher was ceramicist Lia Kaspelashvili, who is also a master of enamel. Mrs. Ekaterine creates various types of jewelry, miniatures, and icons, decorated with precious stones. "I am very happy to have studied this old Georgian traditional craft technique. Despite the difficulty of working, it gives me great pleasure to work on cloisonné enamel, it is my favorite activity! ”- says the master.
