Bolnisi Museum – A Hub of Diversity and Integration

Georgian Heritage Crafts Association together with the Georgian National Museum is implementing the project “Bolnisi Museum – A Hub of Diversity and Integration”. The project is funded by the US Embassy and the Goal is to contribute to the cultural dialogue between disadvantaged community representatives in Kvemo Kartli through the creation of a cultural-educational platform for promoting tolerance and the idea of “unity in diversity”.
The first phase of the project was held on April 3, and a tour for ethnic origin Azeri, Georgian, and Armenian youth was held, where they were introduced to the Bolnisi Museum collection as well as the local intangible cultural heritage.
The young people visited the carpet workshop in Kosalari, the Bolnisi Museum, the pottery workshops of Otar Sharabidze, and the bell founding workshop of Levan Metreveli.
