Pop Up Ethnodesign

Georgian Heritage Crafts Association with the financial support of the Research and Strategic Development Center of Georgia implements the project "Pop Up Ethnodesign". The project involved the creation of a new mobile sales facility, which would offer the craftsmen a new sales channel. The ethnodesign on the wheel will be focused on the quantitative sales of the products and therefore will make a significant contribution to the increase in the income of the craftsmen.
To achieve this goal, the project envisages assembling and equipping a mobile/transportable sales facility, placing it on location, and putting it into operation.
In addition, the project envisages the production of packaging material and information tags for branded products, which is one of the defining parts of the marketing of the craftworks. The mobile/transportable store is an innovative project, which will first allow Ethnodesign to improve the difficult economic situation caused by the consequences of the pandemic at a faster pace. In addition, the new project will allow Ethnodesign to effectively change the location of the store according to the need and adapt to the customer's requirements without significant additional costs (repair works, equipping, etc.).
A mobile store allows testing different locations in Georgia in terms of sales potential, which is quite difficult to do when it is necessary to constantly provide leased space (especially in the regions). The new construction allows for future choices and the mobile store may be located in a specific location for a longer period of time.
